Just got back from an incredible mini-tour with Kathy, Johnny and I (our daughter, Jolie, was visiting NY with her father, Jeff) and it was such a blessing.
We’ll be heading out again soon, but I wanted to give you a few updates and invite you to join us where you are able.

The band formed on New Year’s Eve, 1999, under the name JaD (pronounced “jade”) as a Hard Rock band and later changed the name to State of Man when we began writing more top 40 style Rock songs. Once my son was born and the economy took a turn in 2009, I stopped touring with the band to stay home with my family and we (the band) eventually disbanded.
I spoke to James Beale, the bass player, recently and we decided to give the music away since a lot of people have been requesting where to buy it.

We (State of Man) filmed our first music video with the amazing Adam Bush (R.I.P.) and our friends from Face2Face MEG some time ago, but due to Face2Face defaulting on their part of the music video deal, we never got to see the final footage…. until now!
One thing couldn’t help but notice while watching this is how much I’ve changed (for the better, IMHO), but it’s still nice to look back on those fun days. Enjoy:

John Stringer en route to Guantanamo Bay Cuba for New Years Eve with State of Man
I started the 40 Day Oneness Experiment from James Twyman & Anakha Coman today, a few days after it began, because I just returned home this morning from the US Naval Station at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba performing with my band, State of Man, along with some really cool friends we took with us and learned I didn’t need the book yet to begin.
