No matter what your stance is on US Health Care System Reform, one of the best starting points for real, sustainable change is taking individual responsibility for your personal health.
Though symptoms of the US Health Care System problem need to be treated, real change doesn’t come from just changing external conditions. In the long run, that isn’t sustainable. Real change comes from addressing the cause.
If individuals eliminate disease from their bodies by maximizing their personal health, will that help reform the US Health Care System in a sustainable way? Probably. Addressing the cause of the US Health Care problem means (though not limited to) individuals taking the best possible care of themselves with what they already know while seeking, finding and applying new knowledge to better maximize their health. Addressing the cause means individuals helping make this knowledge available to other interested individuals.

John,
Thank you. Your post is such a welcome breath of fresh air. I work in health care and it is disheartening to see how many people enter the system with a victim mentality. It is impossible to care for someone unless they are willing to co-create the outcome with you. This state of mind, not the method of healthcare delivery is what plagues us.
Wonderful words
