Anyone else get mail from CREDO Mobile this week? While I admire their green approach, cell phones aren’t exactly biodegradable. The amazing thing is how they really go after AT&T for their past Bush/Cheney, McCain support:

“Here’s a nasty little secret you may not know: AT&T contributed the legal limit to the most anti-environmental administration in U.S. history, Bush/Cheney. What’s worse, the did it twice. And they didn’t stop there. They went on to contribute to the polar-bears-be-damned, “Drill, baby, drill” campaign of John McCain.”

Ok. I’m all for the Environment, but this just seems over the top. Now, I will give them this: they say the fund groups seeking solutions to the climate crisis (such as Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection); support the Wilderness Society, Sierra Club and other groups that protect public lands; donated over $10 million to Greenpeace, Rainforest Action Network and NRDC; donates to plant 100 trees for every ton of paper used; prints bills on 100% post-consumer recycled paper and have taken a pretty strong stance for the last two decades on green practices, all according to http://credomobile.com/environment

What’s interesting is that they operate on Sprint’s network, though they maintain that Sprint is only the network provider. Guess its no surprise they aren’t buying space on AT&T’s network, huh?
